    Open up the Preferences tab in Premiere Pro. Go to the Audio Hardware tab. Check the Default Input setting matches the microphone you are using. Go to Edit-> Preferences-> Previews. and then check off the option: “Mute audio when preview is not real time”. I hope this would work in cc version.
